Pumpkin Pull Aparts

You have heard me tell you that you can use your basic bread recipe and make pull aparts also known as "Monkey Bread." Here is a new twist to the same idea! It is a different bread dough but same idea.

This is a delicious twist and perfect for your fall baking...your Thanksgiving desserts.

3 cups white wheat flour (click here)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3 T melted butter
1/2 warm milk
1/4 cup warm water
2/3 cup pumpkin
3 Tbs. Xagave* (click here)
2 1/4 tsp yeast

Mix the liquids. This is a great time to use your bowl scraper (click here)with your bosch. The liquids are incorporated back into the batter with the scrapers.

Add the dry ingredients. Switch to your Bosch dough hooks. You might have to add a little bit more flour depending on the flour. You want the dough to be smooth and elastic. With your Bosch Mixer, you don't have to wait for the dough to rise but can immediately begin forming the balls.

Simply form small balls of dough; roll them in melted butter; roll them in a cinnamon/sugar mixture.
1 cup raw sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 stick butter (melted)

Let rise about 20 minutes. Bake 350 degrees about 30 minutes OR until golden brown.

Some like to put a glaze over this but I think it is sugary enough.

Hope you enjoy! Very easy and makes a beautiful presentation for your Thanksgiving...Fall desserts.

*Note from Paula: I use Xagave when baking things I don't want to have the honey flavor. You can substitute this with 3 Tbs honey OR use 3 Tbs raw sugar. :)
