This is a fun dessert to add to your meal finale or to give as small gifts. You could even make a box of hearts to give and make assorted hearts with different sprinkles. I think it says a lot when you have made something yourself AND you have made it different from the run of the mill stuff you find in the store. Have fun preparing for Valentine's Day...notice I say preparing. To pull off homemade you have to start early! :)
My daughter had to run to the store Christmas Eve for some forgotten food items. I asked her how many frantic people were shopping. She looked at me curiously. As she thought about it, there were mostly men shopping the last minute to get a gift. This is not a bash men post but to point out that most occasions come up and take you by surprise. Don't let this Valentine's Day take you by surprise and make these ahead. Freeze them and then pull them out the day you need them. I am all about making life stress free. :)

Note from Paula: I doubled the recipe because we wanted a lot of brownie bites. These are so fun and festive for your Valentine’s Day celebrations.
