So being a displaced city slicker, I have found new ways to play cowgirl. Our neighbor has several cattle which love to jump our cattle guard. For those who don't know what a cattle guard is....it is several grates/pipes at a crossing in the road making a barrier that prevents the cows from crossing. Well, our neighbor's cows simply jump ours as they see the grass is greener on the other side. We try to keep the gate closed but alas there are those forgetful times.
So this morning a round up began with my car. Who needs a horse! :)
Our trusty dogs joined the round up by keeping the cows from running off after they were rounded up. Every cowgirl needs good dogs. :)
Never a dull moment in the Sutton household. What fun we have with our makeshift cowboy life.
