Well just from the title you know it is going to be sweet and sweet it is! :) I picked this season to cook this bread since apples are a great fall fruit. The name is actually misleading because you might picture a loaf of bread. We ate the quick bread for dessert and the kids finished it off for breakfast. This bread would be a good breakfast treat as well. It will freeze well and will be something you can pull out of the 'hat...freezer' when you need a dessert or breakfast idea. So enough rambling...here is the recipe:
Combine and boil in sauce pan:
Apple Pie Filling
2 Fresh apples diced small (Granny are the best choice)
2 Tbsp melted butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup raw sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
Add
1 Tbsp cornstarch to thicken filling. Let cool.

Bread:
In Bosch Universal Mixer with the cookie paddles (click here) cream till fluffy:
1 cup softened butter
1/4 cup raw sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla
Add:
Cooled Apple Filling
Add Flour Mixture and mix till incorporated. Do not over mix or bread will be tough.
2 cups whole wheat pastry flour (Click here)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt

Bake in stainless steel bread pan (click here) at 325 degrees fro 45-55 minutes.
Thanks, Paula! Made this in Colorado this evening and it turned out delicious!!!
