Road Trip Entertainment

So how do you contain and entertain your children for hours on a road trip? I used to have notebooks full of different sections much like a "Fun Activity" book you buy only my would be a home grown model. I would have my secret toy bag that I would pull out a special item for them to play with while on the trip. Good behavior would result in a special new toy. Humm...has old age or the modern age changed me? We have driven around 9,000 miles in the past two months. My creativity for car games has petered out. I have found our new vise is to listen to books on CD. There are so many great books out there that capture your mind and send you to far away places as the miles roll by. It has been my best remedy to keeping awake while driving and entertaining as well as educated my kids.
