Sweet Potato & Pumpkin Pie

Our family loves the traditional pumpkin pie and I love sweet potatoes!!  This is the best of both worlds.  I had some extra sweet potatoes from our dinner the other night.  I decided to treat my kids to a pumpkin pie but add my love for sweet potatoes to the mix.  This is a really good pumpkin/sweet potato pie!  You won't even know that you have put sweet potatoes into the pie.  The sweet potato makes the pie a thicker consistency so will hold up together better than the average pumpkin pie which is like a custard consistency.  Hope you enjoy your pie as much as we enjoyed ours.  It is really good to dollop a heaping spoon of whipping cream...Yum!

Note from Paula: This is a wonderful twist to the traditional pumpkin pie.  Your Bosch Universal Mixer will shine making this recipe from making a wonderful pie crust with the Bosch Food Processor to whipping the pie filling!  You will love this Bosch mixer this holiday season.
