In keeping with the theme of breakfast and family traditions, I thought I would share with you one of our 'first day of school' traditions.
When we first started home schooling, my hubby wanted the first day of school to be special for our little guy. He wanted the first day to stand out from the day before and bring anticipation to the first day of school. He told my son that on this special first day of school, dad would be fixing a BIG breakfast. True to his word, my hubby fixed a BIG breakfast. He fixed enough to feed an army. Remember, my son was only 5 years old. :) So this began our family tradition. Dad fixes a massive breakfast on the first day of school. The kids love it and it has brought fond memories
