Cooking with Barley Flour

Using Barley in your bread products!

Remember you should only use 1/3 barley flour WITH 2/3 whole wheat flour. The gluten content in barley is not high enough to use more barley flour in a bread recipe. The wheat flour will help your barley bread rise. I would also recommend adding vital gluten and dough enhancer to help the elasticity of your bread. Happy baking. :)
