We decided to combine a family vacation with our Phoenix convention. What better thing to do than to see God's creation showing His glory in the Grand Canyon. We prepared ourselves with water bottles and light clothing to thwart the heat. Bad move! It was a rainy day which made the temperature drop. So much for preparedness. lol
Even with the cold weather, the Grand Canyon is truly grand. I must admit I didn't enjoy my adventuresome hubby who likes to look over the edge! We waited for the sunset which further amplified the royal colors of the canyon. It was amazing and we sang praises to God as His creation sang out in glory to Him.
If you have never gone to the Grand Canyon, it is worth the time/miles to get there.
